I needed my radio code, couldn't find the Anti-Theft Card, 1 & 6 didn't work. Ignore the U and L write down the eight digits.that's the unit's serial number! The second displays an L and last four digits. The first displays a U and the first four digits, Now switch on the radio and you can toggle between two screens, Press and hold the the 1 and 6 preset buttons on the radio, What they don't want you to know is that it can also be checked electronically WITHOUT removing it from the dash, so they can charge you labor! The dealer will tell you they need to remove the unit from the dash to check the serial #. The serial # for the radio can be found on the unit itself by removing it from the dash. ![]() Do NOT check the serial # on the nav display unit in the dash as this will not have a code associated with it! This is the unit under the driver's seat where you insert the nav dvd. Note: For recovering a lost nav code, you will need the serial # of the nav unit. However they may tell you to call the dealership where the vehicle was purchased. In Canada, you can call Honda Canada at 1-88. In the US you can call Honda USA at 1-80 and speak to a Honda rep. Honda Radio and Nav Code Retrieval Website If you bought the vehicle used, then you will have to call them. You will need the vehicle's VIN, the radio or nav serial # and verification of ownership. ![]() It's surprising how many current owners don't know how/where to find lost codes or how many digits they are!įor lost radio (5 digit) or nav codes (4 digit) you can go to Honda's website to retrieve codes. I had a difficult time finding this info anywhere especially being new to Honda, so I will post it here as it may help others in future.
